About Studio PR

Studio PR is a boutique styling and public relations agency located in New York, New York.  Headed by Celebrity Stylist and Trends Forecaster, Shaye Strager, this unique agency has celebrity, fashion and jewelry clients seeking publicity and promotions in the media. What separates Studio PR from other agencies is experience, work ethic and personality of its team members.  By making work fun, this group of powerhouse executives has established strong relationships with the press and industry VIPS for more than 10 years in the business.

Shaye Strager

Publicist, Stylist and Trends Forecaster, Shaye Strager is a triple threat of publicity and promotions in fine jewelry, fashion and accessories.  She is the Director of Studio PR, an agency she started with Jim DeMattei in 2005.  Her PR clients include World Gold Council, Sevan Bicacki, Sylvie Collection (Spectrum Diamonds), MadStone Design, K.Brunini Jewels and Marvin Watches.

Celebrating 13 years in the fine jewelry industry this year, Shaye started as the Media Liaison for the Jewelry Information Center in 1998.  Strager toured the country speaking about the latest trends in fine jewelry on local TV news stations and in regional newspapers and magazines. In 1999, she styled her first runway show with fine jewelry LIVE in Times Square for the Millennium Fashion Show, which featured fashions from Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors and Donna Karan. Since then, she’s continued to style fashion runway shows with jewelry and accessories for fashion brands such as: Carmen Marc Valvo, Tracy Reese, Rock & Republic, and Kevan Hall.

Working behind the scenes during New York’s Fashion week for the past 10 years taught Shaye Strager the ability to dress, accessorize and style models in record time.  In addition to runway styling, she has worked closely with fashion designers on red carpet outfits for award shows and movie premiers for their celebrity clientele. In the beginning, Shaye was called on to find the perfect accessories to complete the “look” for celebrities and socialites alike. Now, she helps stars of today with their head to toe ensembles. She currently works with Oscar and Tony Award winner Marcia Gay Harden and Pauletta (Denzel) Washington.

Over the years, Shaye has worked in a couple small PR agencies and freelanced before starting Studio PR. During her tenure she has represented designers such as Henry Dunay and Cathy Carmendy, large brands such as Express, The Couture Show, Service Merchandise, Michael Anthony, Philip Stein Watches, Diamonds International and trade organizations such as World Gold Council (8 years to date).
Separate from her PR and styling jobs, Strager is CBS Channel 2’s Trend Tracker in New York City, appearing monthly showcasing the latest fashion trends on the 11 p.m. newscast and on CBS Saturday Morning. She has worked with other fashion and entertainment specialty shows as well, such as The View, Entertainment Tonight, EXTRA, E! TV and Fox News Channel, forecasting the latest fashion and celebrity trends.

Strager has been styling fashions and accessories since 1998. Shaye started her career in television at Channel 10 News in Roanoke, VA.

Mark Davidovich

MarkHaving joined Studio PR in 2008, Mark Davidovich is our resident Account Executive with no limits. Spearheading accounts including Passman, Caswell-Massey and Marvin Watch C 1850, Mark’s outgoing personality and sharp-as-a-tack, penchant for promotion has made him a favorite amongst editors and clients alike. His on-trend instincts for both jewelry and fashion have enabled him to work meticulously with Shaye, producing and styling fashion shows each season during Fashion Week. He especially loves working with lovely and talented Ms. Marcia Gay on the celebrity styling side of the business. Mark has also planned and executed several events throughout his tenure including The Late Night Lounge, a 4-night themed party at the Wynn Hotel during the annual Couture show in Las Vegas.

Some of his biggest career highlights to date include: Passman’s bangles on Whitney Houston (Cover of Ebony, October 2009) as her new album launched; styling Naeem Khan’s Fall 2009 show with Mary Alice Stephenson using Sevan Bicakci’s one-of-a-kind carved creations; and coordinating CBS segments for Channel 2 News. He is slowly turning into a Trend Tracker himself (he hopes).

Upon landing at Studio PR, Mark brought over 5 years of experience in the fashion, art and beauty industries, including public relations, marketing and retail operations. Highlights include the Fall 2007 campaign for designer Dori Csengeri and the Il-Makiage exhibition at The Makeup Show, New York in 2006. He has so worked with leading brands such as Estee Lauder, MAC Cosmetics and Aveda, in addition to internationally renowned painter, Daniel Bottero, and numerous fashion and jewelry designers.

Mark loves the cohesive and “all hands on deck” mantra at Studio PR. He also prides himself on being an avid enforcer of low cut shirts and stilettos in the office at all times. Interns, take note.
